If you are a current member, you must mail a check for your $30 fee to Cecilia by March 1, 2019, to confirm your participation. You will not be allowed to set up if you haven't paid your fee.
All returning members must also submit a signed Release Form. Please print it, sign it, and mail it with your check.

If your art has changed or if you have added new art categories, or your business name,
address, etc. has changed, you MUST submit a Renewal Form.
ART MARKET RULES 2019
Very important: please read and understand the Art Market Rules.
NEW FOR 2019: WEIGHTS ARE NOW REQUIRED FOR ALL TENTS.
YOU MUST weigh down each of your tent or canopy legs with @ least 15 lbs of weight (concrete blocks, sandbags or sand filled gallon jugs.) YOU are responsible for damages and injuries related to flying tents and broken inventory.
PROMOTIONS AND MARKETING TIPS:
What's the reason you come to the Art Market? To SELL your art and MAKE MONEY. The only way to do that is to bring customers in EVERY Saturday. The cheapest and best way to attract customers is on social media. If you have a Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook page, tag @artmarketvega in your posts and use hashtag #artmarketvega. We will see your post and re-post it on our pages. You can also re-post Art Market posts on your pages. That's how we reach more people.
If you don't have a social media profile, talk to other vendors about how to set one up.

We are a TEAM - Together Everyone Achieves More! Let's be kind and respectful of one another. And help out when it is needed.... by making sure the signs, orange cones and street closure sawhorses are in place before the market begins and removed after the market ends, by making sure no one is parking on the street, by cleaning up your vending area after the Market. Our goal is to have fun selling our work, support one another and expand the Arts in the Durham community.
Come READY with your $10 in cash, exact change! When people don't have it ready, sometimes it gets forgotten, which leaves us short for marketing, music, flyers, city fees, advertising, administrative costs, etc.
The space in front of Vega Metals has been designated for our musicians to set up.
When you arrive to set up: You will receive a space number from Cecilia or an assistant. Then unload your car completely. Remove and park your car. Then unpack and set up. This helps to keep everything flowing smoothly.
Bathrooms for customers are located at the Durham Farmers Market pavilion.
We encourage you to begin setting up no later than 8 am. Art Market hours are from 9-1. Set up your booth in the street, next to the sidewalk.
If you smoke, please go across the street or up the hill to the parking lot when you need to smoke. Thank you!
Clean up your area at the end of the day... leave your space looking nicer than it was when you arrived!
